CIE Brief Introduction
College of International Education (CIE) is one of 18 academic institutes in Capital Normal University. CIE is responsible for Chinese Language education, international student service and international communication between CNU and foreign universities. With outstanding faculties and advanced facilities (multimedia classroom, lecture hall and comfortable dormitory etc), CIE provides students with comfortable living and learning environment. The dormitory building has Chinese restaurant, Japanese/Korean restaurant, cafe, store, bookstore, laundry room, public kitchen, indoor swimming pool, business center etc. There is single room, double room and four-bed room, equipped with bathroom, TV, computer, air-conditioner, refrigerator etc.
Faculty
College of International Education has 50 full-time language teachers and about 40 part-time teachers, of which 2 are professors, 15 are associate professors and 9 master tutors. 32% teachers have doctoral degree. 80% have overseas teaching experience and certificate of Teaching Chinese as foreign Language (advanced level). CIE has undertaken various programs funded by Confucius Institution, China’s Education Ministry or Beijing Municipal Education Commission etc. Research results published on Chinese Teaching in the World and other academic journals.

Tips:
For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit. - Video
